Susan King is the founding President of Beacon Health Foundation, where since 2017 she has guided philanthropy that advances life changing care across Beacon Health System. With more than 20 years in healthcare fundraising, Susan previously served as President of Midwest Health Foundation-the parent foundation for four Chicago area hospitals within Adventist Health System-and prior roles at Rush University.||Susan's early career included roles in education, museums, and social service organizations. She remains deeply engaged in the community through board service, development councils, and hands on volunteerism, and she is a regular speaker at regional and national fundraising conferences. ||Susan serves on the boards of the South Bend-Elkhart Regional Partnership, The History Museum, and Downtown South Bend, Inc. She earned a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Art History from Tulane University.||
