Judy Bueckert has served as Executive Director of the Southern Indiana Education Center (SIEC) for the past 12 years, leading a regional education service center supporting 36 member districts. Prior to this role, she was Director of Professional Learning at SIEC and spent years as a building administrator and classroom teacher across K-12.|Judy has guided districts through education's evolving landscape, addressing post-COVID learning recovery, expanding work-based learning, and Indiana's redesigned high school diploma. She has positioned SIEC as an intermediary, establishing an employer-focused division to enhance workforce alignment.|Through SIEC Project Protégé, Judy fosters collaboration between small and rural communities, employers, and schools to build a high-quality work-based learning ecosystem. Her leadership continues to drive innovative solutions that connect students with meaningful career pathways and strengthen regional education-to-employment pipelines.|
