After graduating high school, Greg attended one year of college at St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.||On 7 May, 1973 Greg started a summer job at EM Company in Southport, Indiana.||After the summer, Greg was hired to a full time position.||From 1973 to 1983 Greg was involved in every aspect of the business. By attending night school at Ivy Tech and on the job training, Greg gained the experience and knowledge in the electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration trades.||He received his Master of Electrical license in 1977, and he received his Master Refrigeration license in 1980.||From 1983 to 1985, Greg ran EM Company for the previous owner, Rocky Rockwell.||In 1985, Greg and his wife, Peggy, became owners on the EM Company. Greg and Peggy refer to the company as, ""The EM Company Work Family."" They strive to create a family atmosphere within the company and providing outstanding service to the customer is a top priority.||Greg has a passion for the trades and is always willing to train and develop the employees by teaching and sharing information with them.||Greg has led the ""Career Exploration Internship"" Program for the last five years. A program with Roncalli High School Senior Interns receiving instructional and field training in the trades.||As he enters his 52nd year and 9 months here at the EM Company as the CEO/Owner, he strives to provide the customer outstanding service and for each employee to attain their highest level of success.
