Christopher D. Cook has served as director of the Company since 2023 and was appointed as President and CEO of The Farmers Bank in June 2023. Mr. Cook received his B.S. Degree in Actuarial Science and Master of Business Administration from Ball State University. Mr. Cook is a 2006 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin. He currently holds a CPA license in Indiana and maintains membership with the Indiana CPA Society. Mr. Cook has worked in the financial industry for 30 years, previously serving as Director and Chief Financial Officer of First Federal Savings Bank and Northeast Indiana Bancorp, Inc. in Huntington, Indiana between October 2021 and June 2023. Mr. Cook also served as Chief Operating Officer - Indiana Market of Northwest Bank, from April 2020 to October 2021 after the acquisition of MutualBank in Muncie, Indiana. Mr. Cook worked 24 years at MutualBank in various positions along with the last 10 years as Chief Financial Officer. In 2022, Mr. Cook was awarded the Al Rent Spirit of Muncie award for his work with the Muncie/Delaware County Chamber and various other not for profits. He is currently a member of The Rotary Club of Frankfort, Indiana and serves on the board of the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis.
