Andrew Schafer is the Senior Human Resources Manager for Caterpillar Drivetrain, leading HR and Labor Relations with a focus on improving workforce insights, strengthening employee engagement, and enhancing recruiting strategies. Since joining Caterpillar in 2007, he has built a strong foundation in training, talent development, labor relations, and operational leadership. His passion for employee relations led him into labor relations, where he partnered closely with HR and union leaders and supported major bargaining efforts across several represented groups. In his current role, he applies this broad experience - including global HR support for Springvale, Northern Ireland - to drive informed HR decisions and an improved employee experience across Drivetrain.
